Language
acquisition should be a natural process in order to gain fluency.
Parents can support language at home, please speak to your children
as often as possible in Chinese. If you cannot provide this
naturally, we recommend bringing a tutor into your home to try to
bring some additional language to the home setting.
If you subscribe to the Disney
channels offered on NOW Broadband you can push the audio button on
the remote control and set it to Audio 3, and listen to the
programme in Putunghua. The Disney channel may be a bit too
complicated for non-native speakers in terms of language, however
Disney Playhouse is designed for younger children, and is simpler.
