About Parents

IMS parents are very involved in making IMS a very special place for our children. Parents have opportunities to help in a number of ways, from acting as a Class Parent, to supporting children in the Library to serving on our PTA.

We strongly believe that the education offered to its student body is best achieved through a partnership between parents and teaching staff.

Our first PTA helped IMS organize bussing services designed the school uniform, and assisted the school in setting up the school libraries. Parental involvement and input continue to be very important for the continued development of school programs to benefit IMS children.

Parents continue to fill important volunteer roles at IMS: members of the PTA, Class Parents, Library support, guest readers, chaperones for trips, and health & safety week guest speakers.
